2 months

2 months to go for finals.. and my finals internal 'alarm' went off very loudly in my head. OMG!!! It's FINALS!!!!! Arghh!!!!

Looking at my 100+ objectives to cover, I nowhere 25% done. So much to learn, so little time. I probably thought I know enough, but somewhere in my cynical head, I knew I would still lack something basic and important to know. I just know that I will. I'm aware everything that I thought I know is just at the mere tip of the iceberg of knowledge that I have to master. I'm just afraid I will only discover them during the finals itself. Now, my memory is leaking.

And I still have other assignments to complete.

I really want to do well this exam.. I really want to enjoy myself without worrying about any re-sits at all during this summer holiday when I'm back home in KK.

Please, please... I just want to do well. Or pass.

London Marathon

Volunteered for London Marathon last Sunday

Boleh tahan you know. The stuff that we get (for free) were sponsored by high-end companies. The best part was, The shirt has the word 'staff for London Marathon'. Heh

The Malaysian trio that volunteered as steward for the London Marathon. It did rain in the middle of the day. 2 got wet, 1 stayed dry. Who was the lucky one?

Part of the mass runners. They ran for 44km! From Greenwich to Buckingham Palace! Even disabled people did the run. I Salute 100%! I'm really inspired to do one marathon next year!

Barts choir

Barts Choir charity concert in Westminster cathedral. Also performed in Royal Albert Hall last year, and I also joined. I wanted to take a picture of me in this (to show that I joined this performance too, but my friend refused to take my picture. Hmph!)

We performed Bruckener's 'Mass in E Minor' and Rutter's 'Gloria'

Anyway, it was a full house that night, with 1200 tickets were sold out!

Snowy London.... heavier and nicer; and colder. More importantly, very weird - snowed when it's officially Spring!

good enough?

As friend of mine came to my room and poured out her feeling of agony about how she felt inferior to many things in her life, and how she felt overwhelmed by them. It just got me thinking, while I look at her as someone who does a lot of (interesting and adventerous) things, which I consider wow!, her reflection of herself was rather the opposite - she thinks she not good enough.

I did get me thinking how good enough is good enough? Who sets that standard of excellence? Do you say you are good enough when you pass or excel in your exam? And when you are good enough, is that barely good enough to scrap through one thing; or is it good enough to be barely excellent? Maybe barely isn't even sufficient to describe this phrase?

Some do think it is redundant to ask and think of such issue.
